Surely we are intelligent enough to create the technology to fly to the moon, to go beyond the borders of our own world so why should we not be able to open the love in our heart to heal ourselves and create a peaceful world. I believe we can achieve this and I am not willing to let go of that hope. The future is in our hands.

Peace One Day
Last year, 2001, the United Nations unanimously passed a resolution designating September 21st of each year as an "International Day of Peace". The intention of the resolution is to have the entire world observe a day of “Peace and Non-violence”.
Everyone is invited to participate and to work towards strengthening peace and alleviating tensions and conflict among the global community. Peace begins with ourselves by living in harmony with one another.
